Protein powder is not automatically Halal or non-Halal from the word “whey” alone. Check the product’s own dietary tags and full ingredient list, then open a pre-filtered shop view that already shows only products our supplier has labelled Halal.
What does “Halal-labelled” mean on Supplenivo?
On this store, Halal is a dietary attribute taken from the product’s catalogue data. It is a supplier label on that SKU, not an independent certificate issued by Supplenivo and not a religious ruling for every school of thought. If your practice requires a named certifier, batch documentation or a specific authority, verify that evidence for the exact product before you buy.
We surface the attribute so you can filter and compare products honestly. We do not invent Halal claims that the supplier feed does not carry. How we handle product facts more generally is described in our Editorial Standards.
Why protein products need a label check
- Whey and casein come from milk. Milk itself is not the usual concern; processing aids, flavour systems and cross-contact can be.
- Collagen and gelatin are animal-derived; source animal and process matter when a dietary rule is strict.
- Flavourings and carriers can include alcohol-derived solvents or other additives that some buyers avoid even when the base protein is milk.
- Capsules and gummies may use gelatin or other coating ingredients that do not appear in a plain unflavoured powder.
EU food information rules still apply: ingredients and allergens must be available before an online purchase is concluded. Use the mandatory list first; treat a Halal tag as an extra shopping filter, not a substitute for reading the label.
Open Halal-filtered protein category views
These cards open ordinary catalogue pages with the Halal dietary filter already selected — the full protein branch plus common sub-types (whey, isolate, beef/egg, casein, bars, RTD and mass). Each card previews three in-stock products. Filtered URLs are shopping states, not separate product types; the indexable explanation sits in this guide.
How to shop Halal-labelled protein here
- Pick a card above (or open the full protein category with Halal already applied).
- Compare protein per 100 g, the first protein ingredient and price the same way you would for any whey product — see How to compare whey protein products.
- Open the product page and re-check ingredients, allergens and the Halal dietary badge for that exact flavour and pack size.
- If a listing lacks a clear ingredient list or nutrition table, skip it; you cannot compare what you cannot read.
Prefer a wider scan across all categories? Use the Halal-labelled supplements checklist or browse every Halal-labelled product in the shop.

The bottom line
Start with a filtered protein view above, then confirm the label on the product you will receive. A supplier Halal-labelled tag helps you shortlist; ingredients, allergens and your own requirements decide the purchase. For general label literacy, use How to read a supplement label in the EU.
Important: Supplenivo does not certify products as Halal and does not manufacture them. We are a retailer of third-party brands. Where a product is shown as Halal, it is Halal-labelled in the catalogue data — not a Supplenivo certificate or production claim.
