Some food supplements on Supplenivo carry a supplier Halal dietary tag. Use that tag as a filter — open a pre-filtered shop or category page, then still read the ingredients and allergens on the product you will receive.
What this guide covers
This is a shopping checklist for Ireland-bound orders, not a fatwa or a certification service. Supplenivo displays the Halal tag from catalogue product data so you can filter the shop; we do not re-certify products ourselves. If you need a named Halal authority, certificate number or slaughter standard, obtain that evidence for the exact SKU from the manufacturer or certifier before relying on it.
How we source product facts and handle claims is set out in our Editorial Standards.
Where Halal labels most often matter on supplements
- Animal-derived actives: collagen, gelatin, some softgels, and a subset of joint or beauty formulas.
- Capsule shells: gelatin versus vegetable capsules can change suitability even when the powder fill looks plant-based.
- Flavoured powders and gummies: flavour systems, colourings and carriers deserve a full ingredient read.
- Processing aids: not always obvious on front labels — the full ingredient list and manufacturer documentation remain the authority.
Mandatory EU/Irish food information (name, ingredients, allergens, portion, warnings, responsible operator) still applies whether or not a Halal tag is present. A dietary filter cannot replace that check.
Open the right filtered shop views
These cards open ordinary catalogue pages with the Halal dietary filter already selected — from the full shop through the categories shoppers ask for most (protein, creatine, pre-workout, aminos, vitamins, mass, omega-3, joints and bars). Each card previews three in-stock products from that filtered group. Filtered URLs are shopping states (they stay out of the search index as separate pages); the indexable explanation sits in this guide.

Buyer checklist before checkout
- Confirm the product page shows the Halal dietary attribute for the exact flavour and pack size in the cart.
- Read the full ingredients and allergen lines (EU rules require this information before you order online).
- Note form factors that often change suitability: softgels, gummies, gelatin capsules, collagen.
- Compare actives and price like any other supplement — see category guides such as multivitamins or creatine.
- If documentation from a named certifier is required for your practice, do not rely on a storefront filter alone.
The bottom line
Use the filtered links above to shortlist Halal-labelled SKUs, then finish on the product label. The filter is a navigation tool; the ingredients list and your own requirements are the decision. For a general label walkthrough, read How to read a supplement label in the EU.
Important: Supplenivo does not certify products as Halal and does not manufacture them. We are a retailer of third-party brands. Where a product is shown as Halal, it is Halal-labelled in the catalogue data — not a Supplenivo certificate or production claim.
